Pediatric Dental Care
Course objectives: Provide information and practice in the various aspects of pediatric dentistry that will enable the participant to be competent in treating children. The clinic year will cover anatomy of primary teeth; fluoride; local anesthesia in pediatric dentistry; pediatric radiographic technique; stainless teeth crowns for primary molars; non-pharmacologic behavior management; anterior restorations in primary teeth; sealants and PRR’s; common childhood systemic disorders; oral surgery in pediatric dentistry; pulp therapy in primary and young permanent dentition; infant oral health; treatment planning in pediatric dentistry; trauma; and sports dentistry.
