General Dentists & Specialists

Volunteer One Half Day Per Month, either morning (8am-12:30pm) or afternoon (1:30-4:30pm)

Five Great Benefits:

  • Provide dental care to low-income, uninsured patients using state-of-the-art equipment and supplies

  • Receive post-doctoral lectures and hands-on learning

  • Receive 4-5 (five) CE credits per session

  • Automatic membership in FDA sponsored "Project Dentist Care"

  • Network with 140 colleagues in Community Smiles' non-profit clinic

All volunteer health care professionals at Community Smiles who are improving access to health care for indigent residents by providing free, quality health care services to underserved populations, as agents of the state, are provided sovereign immunity while acting within the scope of duties pursuant to state requirements of the applicable health care practitioner laws and administrative rules. In order to receive this coverage please fill out the Community Smiles Volunteer Form and State Department of Health Sovereign Immunity Contract and bring them with you to the clinic upon your initial meeting with our Director of Dental Programs. Doctors will also be required to pay the $90.00 membership dues upon registration.
