Clinic Manager

Maritza joined the Community Smiles team as the Clinic Manager, a newly created position that facilitates supervision of the clinic operations, in terms of coordinating patient treatment plans with our volunteer doctors, front desk operations, and vendor negotiations. She was attracted to the idea of working at a nonprofit, volunteer-driven dental clinic, with the main goal of providing dental care to the underserved community of Miami.

Maritza has worked in the dental field since 1982, and has taken on several different roles: Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, Manager, Dental Recruiter, and now Clinic Manager.
